I am so excited to announce that the medals are ready to ship! I have been working hard getting the Moms Deserve Medals website up. I would love feedback on the site and on the medals themselves.

Great idea! You should always keep one of these in your doula bag so next time someone says “you don’t get a medal for ___” you can whip it out and say, “well actually, you DO!” hahahaha
The whole idea that women wanting to birth without drugs because they’re just wanting some sort of medal/glory is so silly.
I might suggest adding some more images–perhaps a beautiful collage of pregnant bellies, baby hands/feet, etc–in the empty green rectangle in your header. Perhaps do all of them in sepia so they look uniform.
Oh, and I’m subscribing to your feed!
I like most of the blog, my suggestion would be to have some type of background…the all white is kind of boring looking. LOVE the idea of the metals!!!

This is such a great idea and I love the website! I saw that you were giving out medals so I would like to nominate my sister Lindsey who just had an HBAC in July. I posted her “Journey to HBAC” on the Hypnobabies instructor website if you haven’t watched it already. Seeing all the lives she has touched from her work as a doula and midwife, inspired me to become a doula and childbirth educator. She’s really an inspiration to me!
